L3Harris XL radios + FirstNet Push-to-Talk (PTT)

Familiar, trusted two-way radios. Upgraded with nationwide Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT). Only on FirstNet.

Benefits of L3Harris XL two-way radios with FirstNet PTT

Unify trusted land mobile radio and mission-critical PTT on FirstNet

  • Enhanced service coverage, at the speed and range of broadband

Talk where LMR stops, both beyond radio system borders and deeper inside buildings.

  • LMR core network optional with an LTE-as-primary strategy

Use XL devices strictly on the FirstNet network with no radio system to maintain and upgrade.

  • Familiar features and trusted durability

Only two-way radios can do talk-around (device-to-device comms without a network). And only radios are mil-spec’d and fire-rated.

  • Switch from LMR to FNPTT talk groups, with a quick manual toggle

Toggle from LMR to MCPTT with a turn of a channel knob, or push of a programmable key. Just like how you switch from UHF to VHF today.
