Alarm industry process for obtaining FirstNet radio services

  1. If you already have a NRTL listing, apply to TMA for a TMA Certificate of Verification, using NRTL listing as a qualifier to gain approval to use FirstNet Services. If you do not have a NRTL  listing, you can first apply to the TMA IQ program and complete that program and then apply for the TMA Certificate of Verification using IQ as a qualifier.

  2. Once approved give the TMA Certificate to a Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) who sells alarm panels/radios that are FirstNet approved and offer FirstNet Radio Services. The only OEM that currently offers FirstNet approved equipment is DMP. Other OEMs will be added when they offer approved FirstNet equipment.
